Snake hips Nick

Strictly Come Dancing has a lot to answer for! Taking a break from his regular film comedy partner, Simon Pegg, funny man Nick Frost next plans to take the big screen by storm with his salsa.

"Nick Frost is Cuban Fury" proclaims the hype for Frost's latest movie in which his character goes from a being 13-year-old UK junior Latin dance champion to a 39-year-old Nando's-loving fatty before re-finding the secret of life in salsa swing.

Joining him on this rom-com odyssey in terpsichore is Rashida Jones, daughter of music legend Quincy Jones. As well as co-starring in the US version of The Office, she's also appeared in movies like Friends with Benefits and The Social Network.

Directed by James Griffiths (Free Agents), the film features Chris O'Dowd as Frost's romantic rival and Olivia Colman, as his loyal sister.

Co-written by Frost, he says: "My aim with Cuban Fury was to make a romantic comedy with fiery Salsa at its heart. I wanted to show people that sometimes it's not about a perfect nose and abs of steel, sometimes passion, soul and fire is enough. And in case you're wondering yes, I'll do all my own dancing." Oo-er!
