Is Memphis-born actor-singer Justin Timberlake your idea of Pinner native Elton John?

Well, that's what the 64-year-old pop legend and his life-and-business partner David Furnish think because they want Timberlake, 30, to play the chart-topping knight in a new biopic they're producing.

Rocket Man, being scripted by Lee (Billy Elliot) Hall, is described as a "jukebox musical" and will feature a number of Elton's biggest hits.

This won't be the first time Timberlake, who co-starred in The Social Network, Friends with Benefits and In Time, has played Elton. He also portrayed him in a music video of ... Rocket Man.
