Now that's magic

The other seven films in the astonishing Harry Potter series were none too shabby in their box office performance, but Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 has eclipsed all that has gone before.  The film passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office on Sunday, and continues to attract audiences keen to see (and see again) the resolution of this cinematic phenomenon.
