Dyerbolical takings for Danny!

Danny Dyer's latest film, the critically-panned Run For Your Wife (our man gave it a bomb rating)  looks like it’s dying a death after taking just £602 at the UK box office over its opening weekend.

That means it took an average of £67 at each of the nine cinemas where it is screening, though preview takings of £320 earlier boosted the total somewhat. And to be fair most of the cinemas only showed it on the Sunday.

The film, an adaptation of Ray Cooney's 1983 West End farce, is set to expand to a further 65 cinemas across the UK this weekend, mostly Odeons, and mostly in late morning (Senior Screen) or early afternoon slots, so it’s not all over yet.

Run For Your Wife stars Dyer as a taxi driver who battles desperately to prevent his two wives (played by Sarah Harding and Denise Van Outen) from coming face to face.
