Cheryl Cole gets a movie role

Just weeks after she lost her US X Factor judging role Cheryl Cole is to appear in her first Hollywood film alongside Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez - playing a judge on a TV talent show for which Diaz's character auditions.

Her publicist said, in a tweet: "Cheryl Cole is confirmed for a small cameo appearance in the film What to Expect When You're Expecting." 

The film is centred on the lives of four couples during pregnancy and is based on the best-selling pregnancy guide of the same name and follows the lives of four couples preparing to become parents. 

Glee actor Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid and Chris Rock are also linked to the film, which is due for release next year.
