Ramsay's film improves

As we blogged yesterday, Love's Kitchen, starring Gordon Ramsay et al, set a new box office record: it took only £121 at the UK box office during its opening week, which would barely cover the cost of food and drink for two at one of Ramsay's upmarket eateries.

Well the film is still playing, and after 10 days it has clawed its way to £1,687, according to the new UK box office figures released today. That's still bad, but not record-breakingly so. And you could get a decent bit of nosh and a good bottle of plonk for £1,687.
